Projects handled by the Guild Executive Committee

  • Established a Guild office in the school in 1991 with the help of the management. The Guild administrative work is handled there.
  • Started the School Souvenir Shop.
    • Items are designed and manufacturing is supervised by the Souvenir Shop Committee.
  • G.E.C. is sponsoring a teacher to teach English at Rajmata Gayatri Devi Bal Niketan, Jagga Ki Bawri.
    • This school supports children from weaker sections of society.
  • Facilitated the school in opening the Hall of History (School Museum) from 2019 to 2025. The Hall of History was inaugurated in December 2025.
  • Contributed books to the new Primary Section Library in the school in 2025.
  • Published Miss Emma’s Cookbook.
  • Produced and published the Coffee Table Book “70 Glorious Years of MGD”.
  • Produced and published DVDs:
    • Documentary about the school by Ms. Pamela Rooks during the Golden Jubilee.
    • “Royal Reformer” – a documentary showcasing the lives touched and transformed by Rajmata Gayatri Devi (her last interview before she passed away).
    • School songs and prayers.
    • Evolution of the school uniforms over the years.
  • Sponsored Silver Medals for:
    • Class 12 – 1st Position in Commerce
    • Class 10 – 1st Position in Class
    • Best Girl in the School Band
  • Updated the Guild website.
  • Initiated the MGD Girls’ Guild Members’ Digital Directory, currently consisting of 4039 members.
  • Introduced Digital Guild Identity Cards.
  • Published “Guild Today” – the Guild Newsletter (three issues annually).
  • The Guild refurbished the Composite Computer Lab in the year 2023.
